Week 3 is already underway with the Cleveland Browns nabbing their first win since Christmas 2016 against the New York Jets. Looking forward to even more action in the coming days.
One match that caught my eye were the match played at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore between the Baltimore Ravens (1-1) and the Denver Broncos (2-0). The Ravens got off to a solid start against the Bills in Week 1, but came crashing again in Week 2 where AJ Green did his usual against the team in purple. They also picked up a some injuries on key players like CJ Mosley and Ronnie Stanley, in addition to not looking too promising in their pass defense.
They are now looking to take on a tough opponent in the Denver Broncos who are coming off two close wins against solid opposition. There has been many question marks regarding Case Keenum and if he can take up the mantle and how their running game will start to fare after plenty of years with horrible run production. Both of those questions have so far been answered with a resounding yes. Keenum seems to be up to the task, and Phillip Lindsay is thriving so far behind the improved offensive line.
With all that said, we still believe that the Ravens is the better team, and they play at home, so they should be favorites to claim a win here, but given the spread is set at 5, we think that the Broncos should be able to keep it close here. If they are able to stifle the passing game of Flacco, which have looked solid so far, they don't seem to have much of a plan beyond that as far as running game goes.
So we like a bet at on Broncos +5 here to keep it close. If you are more risky, you could put something down on the moneyline, but that is a tough call.
