Greatest Team Ever '85 Bears

Before today's Bears game I heard things like, "Trubisky Sucks" and "Trubisky is a bum". . .

Well, apparently a guy who sucks and is a bum knows how to lay an ass whoopin'!! Trubisky made history today becoming the first Bears quarterback since Johnny Lujack in 1949 to throw for 6 touchdowns in a game as the Bears absolutely demolished the Bucs. . Mitch also passed for 354 yards and put up 43.46 fantasy points. . (Glad I started him today in fantasy and also traded for Taylor Gabriel of the Bears who had 2 TD's and 104 receiving yards. I think I should win coach of the week in our league! :)

Now obviously this isn't the Mitch Trubisky show as this kid has a long way to go, however a breakout week like this for a QB trying to learn the ropes of the NFL is certainly encouraging for the future and I think he is on the rise to stardom by the end of the year. . Trubisky rising stock combined with a killer defense led by Khalil Mack and company is a recipe for success. Even if Mitch doesn't rise to his full potential this year, his amazing defense is going to keep him in the game and provide massive field advantage on a regular basis. . What can I say? I'm a goddamn Bears fan and this team is showing signs of greatness. . How great? Well, in my honest opinion they have the same type of chemistry as the 1985 Bears. . . Yes, I truly believe this. . These guys are special. .

All you Bears haters should probably keep your mouths shut, because by Week 16 the standings are going to make you eat your words. . . I'm off to buy my number 10 Trubisky jersey tomorrow. .

In the meantime, enjoy the Super Bowl Shuffle Video. Great 1980's vibe!! Who knows, maybe we will be making a second Super Bowl Shuffle video this season here in Chicago. :) :)
