I just have to vent.

I supported that guy since he came to town....until last year's AFC Championship game. It was so obvious that he couldn't make a play when we needed. He can run but a quarterback has to be more than that. I didn't watch the game last night but I see 2 interceptions and Lee got hurt to boot.  Oh no don't look now but Bortles is Bortles.

Don't get me wrong, I like defensive football teams. I like a good running game. But the defense is there to put the offense in a good position - so they can score. The running game is there to make the defense react towards the line. The Jags have to be able to take advantage of that running game - and score! Interceptions don't get it done. Excuses don't get it done. Jag fans are going to have to settle in and realize Bortles is Bortles.

Thanks to our defense and running game we have one of the best teams in the AFC. We definitely have a shot at the Superbowl. But I live here and the expectations are wayyyyyyyy too high. People are saying 14-2 or 13-3. If we stay healthy I am thinking 11-5. We have a lot going for us including a manageable schedule but just remember....Bortles is Bortles.

On the more optimistic side of my personality I just keep saying, "The Dawgs are going to win it all." After all, Fromm is Fromm.
