What Is FWAA?
In the year 1941 a group of sports writers both men and women formed an organization called Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) to help cover college football, reward and solve issues faced by the teams. the FWAA memberships journalists, broadcasters, publicists and key executives in all areas which has to do with the game. The organization looks at governing game day operations, major awards and an All America team.
They sponsor and hold annual writing contest for members who wish to develop their writing skills.
The FWAA goal is to help college football prosper at all levels with a great number of 12,000 members. Their President Stefanie Loh and Executive Director Steve Richardson are working hard to make FWAA as helpful to college football as possible.
