The NFC overs/unders are discussed here

NFC East

First discussed is the NFC East where both Sal and Simmons like the Eagles.  They are both down on the Cowboys and that's saying something because Cousin Sal is a big Cowboys fan so either he's got a laser on his team, or he's just used to them performing badly and is expecting more disappointment.  I think the Cowboys will be ok this year. They like the Redskins over their posted win total while I expect them to be mediocre.  I expect the Giants to be a mess once again while they both seem to think there's an outside chance at them being good and making the playoffs.

My NFC East Prediction 35-29

EAGLES 13-3

COWBOYS 9-7

REDSKINS 8-8

GIANTS 5-11

NFC North

They both like the Vikings to win the division and I do too.  They believe they'll go over their win total with more than 10 wins but I think the Vikings get exactly 10 wins.  They both expect the Packers to finish with 8 or 9 wins and I have them at 9 wins.  Neither Sal nor Simmons like the Lions this year, while I expect them to finish with a better than .500 record.  They had praise for the Bears running backs but that was about it as that team is a mess right now.  I predict the Bears finish last in the division.

My NFC North Prediction 32-32

VIKINGS 10-6

PACKERS 9-7

LIONS 9-7

BEARS 4-12

NFC South

Next up they discussed the NFC South and they both believe the Panthers and Saints will be fighting for this division title.  They are both a little down on the Falcons and think there could be some infighting since Matt Ryan was paid by the club but Julio Jones has not been paid.  They both like Tampa Bay under 6 wins and think it will be a terrible year for them.  I hope they're wrong as I have the Bucs winning 7 games but still last in the division.  I'm not kidding myself about the Bucs being better than any team in this division.

My NFC South Prediction 35-29

SAINTS 10-6

FALCONS 10-6

PANTHERS 8-8

BUCS 7-9

Last they discussed the NFC West, they both love the Rams to win this division as do I.  Bill Simmons picked Seattle as his sleeper team.  He cites their homefield advantage, Russell Wilson, and coach Pete Carroll as reasons why he likes them to perform better than expected.  They both think too many people like the 49ers.  I also don't see the 9ers making the playoffs or being any kind of threat in this division.  They both think the Cardinals will be one of the worst teams in the NFC.  I think they will finish at the bottom of this division but I expect them to pull out 6 wins this year with David Johnson returning and Sam Bradford being at least competent at the QB position.

My NFC West Prediction 34-30

RAMS 11-5

SEAHAWKS 9-7

49ERS 8-8

CARDINALS 6-10

Same footnote as before.  I expect some of these to be way off, there are always injuries and players and teams playing better than expected or worse than expected and who knows what kind of other surprises pop up during the season. The records posted are my own best guesses on how the season will play out. If you use this information it is wrong, I apologize in advance :).
