After week 2 in the straight up pigskin pick'em contest Amos has taken the lead with 21 correct picks. Followed closely by last weeks leader Robbijg with 20 picks, while Mikey and firemanbucs are tied for 3rd place with 19 each. Last week I was way down in 10th place, this week I moved up and am tied for 5th place. I hope to continue to ascend up the leader board.
Through 2 weeks in picking against the spread boatsports90 and robbijg2 are sitting at the top with 25 and 24 correct picks respectively. The best score on all of ESPN is 26 correct picks so they are literally a threat to be leading the contest for the entire ESPN website. Kryptokeeper has 20 correct picks, a very good number but only good enough for 3rd place right now in this contest. I had a better week than I did last week but I'm still way behind and have a lot of catching up to do if I'm going to get anywhere near the top 3.
Robbijg and boatsports (unsurprisingly) are sitting atop this one as well only separated by 1 point. Amos has put up the same score (89) 2 weeks in a row and is sitting in 3rd place. One thing about the confidence points plays is that one week can drastically swing everything in this one. You miss a few of your big point plays while everyone else is hitting theirs and you can drop down really fast.
Some folks forgot to put in their picks this past week. If this is you, you can jump back in this week and try and catch up but it's going to be a tough task. Who knows though, you could get really lucky and manage a top 3 finish. Don't forget week 3 starts tomorrow night with the Jets taking on the Browns in Cleveland! Get those picks in!
