Listed above are the lines for week in the SuperContest. This weeks big favorites are the Patriots by -14 over Buffalo. The Rams by -9.5 over the Packers, Steelers by 8 over the Browns, the Texans who covered the -7.5 on Thursday night and the Bears favored by a full TD over the Jets.

Last week I had a dismal week going 1-4 with my picks. I got the Vikings right but missed on every other play I liked. For this weeks picks I like the Packers +9.5 in LA, the Seahawks getting 3 in Detroit, the Saints at pick em in Minnesota, the Jags catching 3 in London, and the 49ers laying 1 point against the Cardinals.

I'm taking the Packers because they're fresh off a bye week and are getting all their receivers back from injury. Also the Rams defense has become a bit suspect over the last several weeks giving up 30 points in back to back games against the Vikings and Seahawks. If anyone can take advantage of a suspect secondary, it's Aaron Rodgers and I think he helps the Pack put up points and at the very least cover late if it's even needed.

I'm also taking the Seahawks getting 3 in Detroit. There's a nice trend going back the last several years where teams that play in London, then get a bye week are 10-1 ATS after that bye week. The Seahawks and Raiders fit the bill this week. The Raiders have gone into full blown rebuild so they may cover but I like the Seahawks chances much better in this scenario. Next game I like the Saints to win in Minnesota. The Saints had the Vikings dead to rights in last years playoffs before a last minute hail mary type play by Case Keenum to Stephon Diggs gave the game to the Vikings. I expect the Saints to be looking for revenge for that loss and not care that the Vikings have a new QB under center who was not the one who made that throw. They're out to prove they're the team to beat in the NFC and this is the perfect spot for them to make that statement.

I'm also taking the Jags in London. This team has been vastly underperforming and in need of a good game to get their season back on track. I look for them to get the win this week. For reasons unknown Blake Bortles always plays well in his trips to London, he's 3-0 leading the Jaguars to an average scoring output of 36 PPG with 8 to 1 TD to INT ratio. I look for Sir Blake Bortles to lead the Jaguars to another win over there. Lastly I'm grabbing the 49ers against this terrible Cardinals team. They might both be 1-6 but one team has an offense while the other does not. Not to mention the only win the Cardinals have on the year came against this 49ers squad on the road who coughed up the football 5 times in that game and outgained the Cardinals 447 yards to only 220. That result won't happen again this week as the 49ers prove they aren't the worst team in the league by getting this win on the road.

Those are my 5 picks and analysis for this week! Good luck if you're wagering!
