Here are the week 9 lines for the contest. The Bears are the biggest favorite this week laying 10 on the road in Buffalo, followed by the Chiefs laying 8 on the road in Cleveland and then the Cowboys at home on Monday Night laying 6.5.

My picks went 3-2 last week. So far this season I'm 18-21-1. I'm still searching for my first 5-0 week, starting to wonder if I'll even get one this year but here goes nothing!

First pick I like is the Chargers getting 2 points up in Seattle. Last week I picked Seattle to cover and they did so easily. This week the Chargers fit the trend, coming off a bye week after a game in London. The Chargers are a very good team this year having only lost to the Chiefs and Rams. I think they get the win up in Seattle.

Next pick is right along the same line, bye week after a game in London. I'm taking the Titans and the 6.5 points Monday Night against the Cowboys. The Titans have had 2 weeks to prepare for this game and this line is disrespectful to a team that just finds ways to win tough games. They don't even need to win but I think they're more than capable of pulling off an upset. Either way, I say they cover here.

I made the mistake last week of not looking ahead when I usually do. I picked the 49ers and didn't notice that they were going to play Thursday night and of course they blew their game Sunday and then pounded the Raiders into the ground on Thursday night. This week I'm taking 2 plays against the teams meeting this coming Thursday. I'm taking Baltimore at home to beat the Steelers. They beat them earlier this year and the Ravens are in desperate need of a win and there's no better time to get one than at home against their hated division rival who has a tough matchup against Carolina on Thursday night.

In the same situation I'm taking the Bucs to cover vs the Panthers. The Bucs get their Fitzmagic back and the Panthers aren't exactly world beaters on defense giving up 30 points to a woeful Giants squad at home earlier this season. Fitz gives the Panthers fits in this one and at least keeps it within the spread.

For the last game I'm taking Atlanta off their bye week to cover against the Redskins at home. One of the losses the skins had this year was to Andrew Luck and the Colts and I think the Falcons can move the ball and put up points in much the same way as the Colts did in that game. Atlantas defense is suspect but they've had 2 weeks to prepare and I just don't trust the Redskin offense enough to put this game away even if they get an early lead. If forced to throw, Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, and company can get it done. Give me the points with Atlanta.

Those are my 5 picks and analysis for this week! Good luck if you're wagering!
