I am thrilled to announce my 169th Scorum Sports Cast! You can find me @thesportsguru and I will be giving you the best 5-10 minute sports rants here on Scorum every day. On today’s episode I will talk some NFL and give you my gambling picks for the day.

But first, let me tell you what the wife and I got into on Friday night. Have you heard of the R. Kelly Documentary that everyone is talking about? It was a hot topic at the office the last couple days as R. Kelly is from Chicago and is more famous in this town than anywhere else. We watched 3 of the 6 episodes last night and it was crazy!

He was an absolute super star in the R&B world back in the 90’s and early 2000’s. But there is a very dark side to Kelly who has been accused of rape, pedophilia, and other sex crimes. The most famous accusations against Kelly are that he likes to pee on his victims. Comedian Dave Chappelle made this video mocking Kelly and it is one for the ages.

OK, back to sports. There are two fantastic games in the NFL Playoffs today and I can’t wait to see them. I am over the disappointment of the Chicago Bears losing and I am looking forward to the Indianapolis Colts upsetting the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams sending Jerry Jones into retirement.

Are you betting on today’s games? This is my ticket. I am also handicapping some College Basketball games but have to go to a 3 year old’s birthday party that is an hour away….doesn’t that sound like fun 😊! If we ever have another child (Addi is 11 years old) I will promise to all of our friends and family that we will never have a birthday party that is boring and there will always be televisions, sports, and adult beverages involved for the moms and dads. Right now we are headed to the Schamburg Park District that features a decorated room with Mickey Mouse BS. But at least I am not bitter lol. The wife promises we will be home by kickoff of the early game.

Happy Saturday Fellas!

I would love to tell you all about it in my new Scorum Sports Cast. To check out my 169th show just click the play button below. I look forward to hearing your input and comments. Cheers!
