On Sunday, December 12th, 1937, the Washington Redskins defeated the Chicago Bears 28-21 in the 1937 NFL Championship Game to win the 18th championship in NFL history. It was the first championship for the Redskins franchise. The game was held at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
