On Sunday, December 28th, 1947, the Chicago (now Arizona) Cardinals defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 24-14 in the 1947 NFL Championship Game to win the 28th championship in NFL history. It was the second (and, as of this writing, most recent) championship for the Cardinals franchise. The game was held at Comiskey Park in Chicago.
