On Sunday, December 18th, 1949, the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Los Angeles Rams 14-0 in the 1949 NFL Championship Game to win the 30th championship in NFL history. It was the second championship for the Eagles franchise. The game was held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles.
