On Sunday, January 14th, 1968, the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League defeated the Oakland (now Las Vegas) Raiders of the American Football League 33-14 in Super Bowl II (known at the time as the second AFL-NFL World Championship Game) to win the 48th championship in NFL history. It was the 11th championship for the Packers franchise, as Packers quarterback Bart Starr won his second straight Super Bowl MVP Award. The game was held at the Orange Bowl in Miami.
The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cleveland Browns 30-6 in the 1967 Playoff Bowl on Sunday, January 7th, 1968 to claim third place in the overall standings. The game was held at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida.
Baltimore Colts quarterback Johnny Unitas won the 1967 MVP Award with 20 passing touchdowns and 3428 passing yards.
