This article takes a quick look at the NFL games that have taken place on Sunday, September 8th, 2019, to help start off week one of the regular season.
The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Carolina Panthers 30-27, Rams quarterback Jared Goff won with one touchdown and 186 yards, while Panthers quarterback Cam Newton took the loss with no touchdowns and 239 passing yards.
The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Washington Redskins 32-27, Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz grabbed the win with three touchdowns and 313 yards, while Redskins quarterback Case Keenum was hit with the loss with three touchdowns and 380 passing yards.
The Buffalo Bills defeated the New York Jets 17-16, Bills quarterback Josh Allen grabbed the win with one touchdown and 254 yards, while Jets quarterback Sam Darnold took the loss with one touchdown and 175 yards.
The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Atlanta Falcons 28-12, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins won with one touchdown and 98 passing yards, while Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan took the loss with two touchdowns and 304 yards.
The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Miami Dolphins 59-10, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson earned the win with five touchdowns and 324 passing yards, while Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick was faced with the loss, passing for one touchdown and 185 yards.
The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 40-26, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes got the win with three touchdowns and 378 yards, while Jaguars quarterback Nick Foles took the loss with two touchdowns and 275 yards.
The Tennessee Titans defeated the Cleveland Browns 43-13, Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota earned the win with three touchdowns and 248 yards, while Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield faced the loss with one touchdown and 285 yards.
The Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Indianapolis Colts in overtime 30-24, Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers earned the win with three touchdowns and 333 yards, while Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett took the loss with two touchdowns and 190 yards.
The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 21-20, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson grabbed the win with two touchdowns and 196 yards, while Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton was hit with the loss as he passed for two touchdowns and 418 yards.
The San Francisco 49ers defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-17, 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo won it with one touchdown and 166 yards, while Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston took the loss with one touchdown and 194 yards.
The Dallas Cowboys defeated the New York Giants 35-17, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott scored the win with four touchdowns and 405 yards, while Giants quarterback Eli Manning took the loss with one touchdown and 306 yards.
The Arizona Cardinals tied against the Detroit Lions in overtime 27-27, Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford got the no decision with three touchdowns and 385 passing yards, while Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray also grabbed a no decision with two touchdowns and 308 yards.
The New England Patriots defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 33-3, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady earned the win with three touchdowns and 341 yards, while Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was hit with the loss, passing for no touchdowns and 276 yards.
