Raymond, or Ray Emery was famous for loving a fight more than any other goaltender in the NHL. He was drafted by Ottawa Senators 99th overall in 2001, started his NHL career a year later and played 11 seasons with Senators, Philadelphia Flyers, Anaheim Ducks and Chicago Blackhawks recorded 2.70 GAA, .906 SV% and 16 SO in 287 NHL games. In 2013 Emery became the Stanley Cup Champion playing for Chicago (but didn’t appeared in the Playoffs games) and won the William M. Jennings Trophy along with the other Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford. But he was famous not for these in-game achievements, but for his fights. He has battled skaters, other goalies and even own teammate Brian McGrattan.

Ray Emery finished his pro career in 2016, he changed four teams in his last season. Yesterday, July 15 he went swimming at the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club in Hamilton, Ontario with friends and didn’t resurface after a dive.
