Hello to all you avid hockey fans and hello to the Scorum community.

My first. First time writing a post, a blog, or what ever you call this.  Yep, a Canadian sheep producer.  We don't get out to the big ole' city much but with a little effort we try to keep up with technology.  Crazy, some dude, in the middle of nowhere, using blockchain technology, interacting with people across the globe. Talking farm, errr hockey.  That's awesome if you ask me.

Today is my first attempt at writing a piece.  Hoping to bring some humor and hockey talk to the table, so to speak. Forgive the grammar.  Low level of education or pure forgetfulness, not sure which.

I'd like to share how the farm and hockey teams are very similar.  How I see the game and its players.  Seen from my perspective.  Ok, here goes.  As per the title, Nicknames.

Sit back, relax, and think about that one game you were watching last year.  The one that had you all upset. You know what I'm talking about.  The one, the one game where you come unglued.  That game,  when the beer went flying, where projectiles were moving at mach one towards the television, and not a word was said in the room.  Yup, that game.  See, we all know one of them players on that there ice was not doing as he should.  Not according to us right.  I mean, come on, everyone knows you don't make that move.  Even the guy that can't skate knows you don't make that move, and boom, scoring opportunity is lost, back the other way goes the black biscuit and its in the wrong net.

So why this all happen.  The boy on skates just wasn't thinking.  To excited, to much speed and he can't cut to the middle of the ice, for that marvelous scoring chance. Going wide, every time.  Drives a fella nuts.  See, that's what happens out here on the farm.  I got one of them to.  That ram, the speedy and energetic one, always going wide, getting out of his pen, is what I'm saying.  Ya love the zeal but man, stay in and there is lots to work with, if you know what I mean.  Know what we call those kinds a sheep, fence crawlers.  Some days, drives a fella mad.  Well, that's what I saw that game.  So, that day,  that fella, got a new nickname.  Yup, Fence Crawler.  The speedy, energetic, hits everything that moves, ya got to love him, the one and only :

See the mark below his eye ?   I think that's where the barb wire got him.  Happens.  He will learn, he's still young, but for now......
