I’m a big fan of acetate hockey cards! I think the clear cards look great! So I recently bought 2017-18 Upper Deck Ice. The only problem is the 2017-18 season wasn’t a great rookie class. There isn’t a Connor McDavid, Auston Matthews, or even a Patrik Laine in this year, so the big rookie hits aren’t here, but the price was right so I decided to go for this box despite that.
The two big hits? A Tage Thompson Rookie Ice Premieres Autograph serial numbered out of 299 and an Adrian Kempe Ice Premieres Rookie serial numbered out of 249.
