On Saturday, April 19th, 1947, the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Montreal Canadiens at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto to win the 34th Stanley Cup Finals four games to two. It was the sixth Stanley Cup championship for the Maple Leafs franchise, and the 12th that was won in Ontario. These are the top five players that I felt most stood out during the series.
