The writer must read, listen and pay attention or what can be imagined. An author who does not read, of course, what he has written is not complete and can even be misleading for the reader. Therefore, it is impossible for a reliable writer to be lazy to read.
I myself am not a reliable writer, I am also lazy to read in detail. Therefore, when I write, I must read my understanding first, or at least what I write can be understood by myself.
There are many reasons people write and there are many ways to become writers. But if we don't start, then we will not have any writing at any time. Therefore the action is the first step before a good and right writing method.
My friend often asks when we start writing? What will I write? How do I write? I don't want to write, because I can't necessarily do what I write.
There are still many other questions, where these questions are the reason to start writing. To start writing, as I said above "just write it" whether or not the writing is a later matter.
When do we write? Now, not later or tomorrow. Because later, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow is another word not to start writing. What do we write about now? Just write down what you have in mind, based on what you know all along, or at least you can write your own biography.
How to write? Write by reading after writing, if there is a word that is not suitable it can be replaced. If you yourself are comfortable reading it and you understand what you wrote, then please show it to others.
During high school, I wrote in a tabloid. Where is my writing the 30th article that I sent to the editor?. Because maybe the editor saw me again and again. So the editor gave the opportunity to air in the Tabloid.
First, the tabloid was very happy. But when I read what I wrote, it was edited 99%, not a single paragraph was not edited. This means that my writing is very messy. Even though I think it's very good.
After that, I learned from the edited writing. I adjusted each word with the edited one. Then I sent it again to the editor of the new article. It turned out that my writing was loaded with an editor, but there was still a lot of it edited. Although it has begun to be accepted by the editor.
I keep writing and sending my writing to the tabloid, even though I am not given anything. But my writing was very happy. Can show off to friends. It was then. Now that's not the case, because I keep learning to be able to write. From writing on blogger to being the founder of the media and now the editor of Anak magazine.
When I became editor of the children's magazine, I had to learn children's grammar. Learn from the beginning again. Thank God, now I can adjust. Where are the writings that children can understand and which writings they cannot understand?.
But again, I am not a reliable writer. Because just one writing like this, I wrote it in 3.5 hours. Just imagine one day I was only able to produce one article.
Because of that, people think I'm in front of a laptop just sitting playing social media or just watching. Even though I myself don't like the name of watching and I am also rarely active on social media now.

Back to writing. We have not been able to do better with what we write or maybe our writing is not good for people to read.
Write what you think can be read by many people or you have done it and are good for you. It could also give a warning, that this is not necessarily good if practiced.
Therefore, I often say to friends, write what you read, what you see or imagine (imaginary). Start with what is around you or close to you.
When you see a Monkey, you can write about the monkey. Can you tell me what a monkey is, what group of animals do you belong to? How is he looking for food? Danger or not for humans? What are the characteristics? Where he often stays and various other questions about the monkey. Including how do you photograph the monkey? What camera? How to adjust the camera and so on.
The more you are curious about the monkey, the more questions and the more things you will write about the monkey. Position yourself as a reader, not as a story writer, so you can really write according to the tastes of the reader.
You can also start writing through your hobby or your profession. If you are a teacher write about education. If you are a farmer write how to grow crops. Even though you are a housewife, you can also write about cooking recipes.
