Alphabet X Launches Big Robot Plan for Everyday Work

California: The company formerly known as Google X and recently named Alphabet X has embarked on an ambitious project under which it will develop robots for common tasks that they can learn from their environment.

The program, called the Everyday Robot Project, aims to incorporate an algorithm into the robot once it sees and learns the environment with the help of a camera. This way the robot will not need to code for everything repeatedly.

Under one project, these robots will be used in offices and other workplaces. In the first phase, goods sorting and garbage separation robots are created. The idea is that robots can help humans in everyday lightweight tasks and do their work with a single algorithm.

The reason for this is that robots have so far been designed for specific tasks. Then the robot finds it difficult to work in human-filled offices and shopping malls. For this reason, new philosophies and techniques were needed for the manufacture of domestic or worker robots. Alphabet X has taken its first step in this regard.

Although the company has invested a large amount of money for the project, according to them, its practical destination is still far away. The reason for this is that in many environments, robots will first be deployed and then their defects removed.
