The hide and seek map is a game since we were little where one of the friends we invited to play closed his eyes and the rest looked for a hiding place to be found by a friend who turned a blind eye.

For some people, hide and seek is still done by young children today. What about adults?

In Japan there is a game of hide and seek for adults called Hitori Kakurenbo. But this game is said to be really scary because the one invited to play is a Ghost.

Hitori Ritual Kakurenbo is actually used in Japan to communicate with spirits who roam for various purposes, and dolls are used instead of the human body as a medium.

In Indonesia this might be called Jelangkung. But according to various sources we found that there was a difference where it was stated that Hitori Kakurenbo made his puppet move and cause sounds, it was terrible.

Some people believe that this game is actually a ritual to call the presence of an evil spirit into your home. What you actually call depends on the source, we hear some calling the devil, some say you call a spirit trapped on earth while others say that it is the soul of someone who is cursed against you.

The way to play hide and seek with this ghost also varies, but here is a little summary (Remember! Don't ever try this game, if you don't want to get hurt):

First, players must prepare a doll, red thread, nail pieces or drops of blood, a knife or other sharp tools, rice, a glass of salt water, and an empty house.

An empty house here means not a house that is not inhabited, but a house that is only filled by people who want to play. So people who don't want to play cannot be there.

Close all doors, windows and curtains. Turn off all lights. It is possible to turn on the TV but set it to only in static or ant screen mode.

Cut the doll and remove the cotton to put rice and nail clippings or blood into it. Name the doll. Sew the incision with red thread. This thread is believed to be in Japanese culture as a symbol of the human pulse.

Fill the bathtub or sink with water. Say "(your name) to be the first guard!" three times then throw the doll into the water.

We don't show the rest, because this is only for info needs.

Now here comes the horror story. As long as you wait, you will hear voices outside your hiding place. These voices are usually in the form of heavy footsteps, TV sounds that move through channels, the sound of furniture being shifted, and so on.

In some stories can also be heard the voice of people laughing, threatening, and inviting to come out of hiding. Various sources remind you NOT to come out of hiding!

Here you have to really play hide and seek seriously, don't peek, let alone look out. It is said that if the spirit succeeds in finding you, then it will stab you with the knife you used before to stab the doll.

Some sources recommend not using a knife in this game, but sharp needles or pencils so that if you find a wound that you suffer from is not fatal. Even so, some sources say it's not a stab wound that you have to worry about. If you are found, your body will be taken over by the creature.

If you feel the game is starting to be dangerous, don't stop the game arbitrarily! The game must be completed. Immediately put salt water in your mouth and bring the rest that is still in the glass with you to the doll's place.

Some people say wait until no sound is heard or the sound you hear is far from you. The point is make sure the sound is not between you and your doll's place.

Be careful, the doll often has moved places, so you have to look for it. Remember to always keep salt water from spilling or swallowing. Once you find the doll you are using, immediately spray the salt water in your mouth and the one in the glass to the doll and shout "I won!" 3 times.

Cut the red string on the doll and burn the doll until it runs out. The game is finished.

In a LiveJournal, there are several reasons not to play Hitori Kakurenbo. One of the first three players of the game disappeared, while the other 2 reportedly experienced something really 'weird'.

A player is haunted by the spirit. When his friend took him to the temple, the priest there spoke with the ghost. His ghost roared: "This person called me and played with me brutally !! He stabbed me !!"

As you know, this is not a pleasant experience for the ghost too. This game can frighten your mind to death and this game is a mixture of western voodoo and Japanese curse.
