Firstly, a very big shout out to the main coordinator of the "Freaky Friday Contest" @Pete,, the wonderful sponsors as well, words cannot express how happy I am to witness a platform harbouring such generous and wonderful humans. In case you are wondering what "Freaky Friday Contest" is all about, it is a means for bloggers struggling to keep up with the daily earnings of the platform to get encouragements through the means of gift or upvotes, and also a means to get the acknowledgement of the Pro's, it also serves as a means to become innovative and thoughtful. See? The coordinators and sponsors of this contest are wonderful beyond comprehension.

This is the first time I am participating in the contest and I intended giving my itching thumbs a little ride,, you just need to give it a try, check the link below.

DAMN!!!

The worst day it ended up becoming for Luis,, he kept on wishing he had listened to me, at least he would have avoided the humiliation and awkward outcome from the most unimportant game he has indulged in his entire life.

WHO IS LUIS???

Luis? I don't really know Luis that much aside the fact that he comes around my neighborhood for motor racing games and I cheer him up the most. The very day I and Luis hung out was the day he saw me for the 10th time, waving a flyer with his name on it and wishing him the best of luck. Luis walked straight to me before the race and told me to Wait for him after the race, he sounded that as a warning. After the race, which he won again(as a matter of fact and pride, Luis has won every race he partakes in and had me cheering for him), he saw me waiting for him beside the exit, we walked to the closest restaurant and had a chat alongside a nice meal, I would have loved to dive into the chat details but you are gonna have to hit me up for it, Lol.

THE BAD DAY...

On this fateful morning my phone rang, it was Luis, he asked if I would be at the race today, I looked with much perplexity, for crying out loud, the race to hold that day was for upcoming racers, absolutely not for someone like Luis that is a renowned champion. I managed to ask Luis why he wanted to race that day, he replied that he wanted to show the town that he is still the undisputed champion, he also added that the town will start cheering for whoever wins that race aside him as the "NEXT BIG RACER". To compound the whole worthless idea with misery, Luis wasn't feeling well,, he explained that the doctors diagnosed him with fever,, he actually called to inquire if I would be at the racing to produce the superstitious luck I bring to him in every game, WHAT?? Unbelievable.

I told Luis to forget about his pride as the best, forget about the unimportant game, forget about what the town would think and concentrate on his health, we all know he is the best, I don't wanna believe my presence gives him the winnings but I sure do know Luis is a very Good racer. Luis insisted that he has to race, he included that he won't feel better and his mind won't be at rest if he doesn't race that game. I told Luis if he insists on racing that game, he should prepare for the worst and there is every possibility he is gonna be found wanting, he joked of my lucky presence and bid me goodbye till the game.

THE BAD GAME!

As Luis walked towards his car, he looked at my usual standing place, I saw the same Luis in body but different in spirit, he looked so pale, one could tell he was suffering from a strong sickness. Luis smiled at me and I managed to smile back, he gave me a thumbs up and entered his car. The race began with Luis in the third row, gradually we saw the typical Luis aiming for the top spot, suddenly, to the surprise of everyone, Luis started losing the steering, he raced away from the road and crashed into a pole. "I TOLD HIM" kept ringing in my mind as we watched the rescue team reach for his car.

AT THE HOSPITAL..

Fortunately for us and Luis, he sustained a minor injury and was admitted for complete treatment, when he recuperated, I came to visit him, he wished he had listened to me, at least he would have participated in the upcoming "RACE OF THE YEAR" next weekend. I consoled him with every better words I could think of, within me I knew his day would come again, I knew it wasn't just my good luck that helps him win, I knew Luis is a good racer, I wouldn't have picked him for cheering if he wasn't.
