*I'd recommend listeners who are totally foreign to these sounds presented below to at least listen to each video in its entirety in order to appreciate each track as a whole. Give the beats time to develop and come together before passing judgment or determining whether or not you really rocked with the track.

Thanks.

I've always been a fan of a music track with a good beat behind it. Unlike many, I can only enjoy great lyrical content that is without a solid flowing beat for only so long. To me, it's the beat of each tune, the tempo, and all around mix of sounds that catch my imagination and fine tune the inner-workings of my spirit and feelings at the moment.

To truly master the art of beat-making and/or to love and relate to it from a certain perspective is enough to deem it somewhat as a sport- at least to me; a mind sport in which the mind races against time to put together melodies and drums so that they sound in sync and flow as a work of art.

Anyone can begin to make a beat simply by banging on a table or using their mouth to utter sound effects but to have the ability to be able to craft something classic is a talent so few hold.

Zaytoven and Scott Storch, who come from totally different backgrounds and upbringings are both legendary producers in the Hip Hop music industry. Many famous rappers have all needed or desired a beat from one of these two at some point in their career- whether they were on the come up or just to come together to bring us a true classic.

While I truly admire beatmaking, it's something that I only have an ear for; no talent in. For even some of my most favorite tracks in Hip Hop, Pop, RnB, etc, I sometimes search up the instrumental and jam to the track without any lyrics. This is just a testament to how important a good beat is to me a majority of the time.

Join the argument but appreciate the craft at the same time.
