There are countless religions around the world but we don't know God. It is believed there are over 7.7 billion people in the world today, and atleast, 80% are religious. That means about 6.2 billion people are religious. I'm yet to hear of any religion that preaches war and violence. All religious bodies say they are peaceful, yet there is a lot of violence in our streets. Could it be the atheists creating all this wars? Why would they create all this wars, and if it's them, how come the remaining 80% haven't been able to stop them. It surely can't be the atheists.

I've never heard of an atheist war, but I've heard a lot of religious wars. If we are all worshiping God, why the killings? If you don't know of religious wars, also called holy wars, they are wars caused or justified by religious differences. Religious wars have killed a lot of people. In actual fact, I don't know of any country being predominantly atheists. It's true that over 50% of the Czech Republic population but that was just recent. The atheist haven't pioneered any war that I know off.

Unfortunately for all religious people, seems the streets of religious countries aren't that safe. Talk of the USA, talk of Brazil, talk of South Africa, talk of India and not to even talk of Afghanistan. All these countries have strong religious backgrounds, so why still the violence. How do you convince me you are peaceful when the stats show otherwise? Why can't we live together in peace and harmony with our various beliefs and non beliefs? Could the violent nature of religion be the reason why the number of atheist seem to be increasing?

Sometimes I sit and wonder if I can actually blame someone for not believing in God. How can I when those who are supposed to believe in God do the opposite of what a loving God would actually want his followers to do. I am not against any religion here, just stating reality. Look at the number of killings masterminded by the Catholics, Protestants, Muslims, Buddhists, just to mention are few are disheartening. Can we actually live religious lives instead of speak of it?

LET RELIGION UNITE US, NOT DIVIDE US
