It's high time someone did a write up on this. Well, I made a video and uploaded it to my new Youtube channel.
Y'all need to get pumped on some Scorum coins and load up your accounts. Let the activity begin.
Reason:
First, this is a tutorial to show Scorum users how to purchase some SCR in order to increase the potential value of the platform.
Secondly, this is to show Sports writers who are not used to the Blockchain ecosystem the simple way to use Openledger and purchase some SCR. I will add the other video on how to transfer the Scorum coins to Scorum if the community thinks its fine to have such content up as a post.
Step 1:
Log on to https://openledger.io
You must double check that you are on openledger by confirming the correct spelling which is h t t p s : / /o p e n l e d g e r . i o . This is to avoid entering your credentials on a phishing site.
Step 2:
Sign up/login to gain access to your wallet.
Click on the padlock on the top right corner
Then signup or login
Step 3:
On the page, click on exchange (At this point, make sure you have some bitshares. If not, make sure you check for how to do that). If you want me to make a tutorial about that, drop a comment and I will make one.
On the exchange page, click on BTS then search for SCR. You'll see it pop in the asset section.
Click on SCR, scroll down and place your order.
Click on buy and order will be placed.
At the end, click on 'Account' and you'll find your SCR in your wallet.
Voila! You've bought some SCR. Power up if you wish.
