There are a lot of decentralized social media sites that are popping up, the trailblazer being steemit followed by scorum, golos, etc. - some with niche markets and offerings while others catering to a majority audience.

Today I just want to talk about an interesting site called whaleshares (https://whaleshares.io). I've been enjoying hosting the #dailyfoodphotography challenge on the site for some time now.
