I am not really a book person. Infact lately I've not been reading and its affecting my writing. We all know that to be a good writer you must be a lover of books and one who enjoys reading. Reading shapes one thinking, helps build vocabulary and improves one grammar asides from educating and informing you.

I decided I needed to go back to reading to help bring back the magic in my writing and so I decided to share this challenge with a friend of mine @j1. How agreed it was important I redirected the habit of reading and even went on to suggest E-books. Is it just me or is there anyone else who prefers hard copy books to soft copy books? Maybe cos I don't use a PC hence why I find reading E-books with my phone boring. Once I start, my eyes becomes heavy and the next thing I'm dozing off. Maybe I'll need some suggestions on how to read and not get bored.

@j1suggested the book titled "The Richest man in Babylon". He immediately sent it to me and said, "Beautiful one, you will love this book". I just rolled my eyes. Like, didn't he listen to all I've been saying about E-books? I know I'll get bored so what's the point even starting. I didn't even open it that day...lol. yeah! I know, don't laugh, I'm that lazy when it comes to reading. It's a book on wealth building. I figured it will be filled with principles and philosophies that are impracticable but once I opened the book and read the first page I fell in love with it.

I loved the writing pattern of the author "George .S. ClasonGaniyat 20180509_133740.jpg

. He gave us the secrets of building wealth but in a story form. It's as good as reading any other novel but this time, it isn't just a story but a story with hidden secrets on how to become rich.

I immediately ran to him and beamed, "Thank you, aagbona. I am in love with this book. It's just what I needed right now".

He smiled and said, "A gift, from me to you".

I am not here to do book review but in weeks to come, I hope to share with us the different secrets to wealth as unraveled by one of the greater authors. If you feel you are too impatient to read from my blog, then just get a copy of the book. I guarantee you'd love it. It's a great book.

Thank you for reading.
