Not too much to report on tonight for the game, sadly. Today I was officially laid off from my day job, so I have been frantically trying to figure out the next steps. As I mentioned in a previous blog, I am planning on moving to a cheaper location for the time being. Thus, I have been packing up and preparing for the voyage during this last week.
The trip is over 1200 kilometers long and is across the Rocky Mountains, with a 12-hour drive, from Vancouver to Edmonton. I am hoping to leave in a couple days. The sooner things can return to a form of normalcy the better.
I am really sorry that this is not much of a blog post like usual, but I still wanted to keep you guys informed of the overall situation of things.
Oh the joys of life's challenges. But what can one do but soldier on?
