One of the series of events featured at the 7th Aceh Cultural Week parade. Monday August 6 2018. In Banda Aceh That is the wave of silat dance from the contingent of Nagan Raya.

The silat dance performed in front of the main stage which was judged by the jury and witnessed by Acting Governor of Aceh Nova Iriansyah, Wali Nanggroe Aceh Malik Mahmud Al-Haitar and a number of other Forkopimda leaders.

Participants in the Nagan Raya cultural parade were also accompanied by wasps of rapai tuha, rapai saman and serune kale. The community looks enthusiastic in watching the cultural parade from this jade-producing district.

The field committee of the cultural parade contingent Nagan Raya Arafik A Karim said the reason for the silat geulombang dance performance was because the dance was typical of Nagan Raya. In Nagan Raya, geulombang dance is usually displayed at weddings such as when the event awaits the groom.

The silul geulombang dance that was shown was a dancer from Geuta Alam Studio, from Padang Rubek Village, Kuala Pesisir District, Nagan Raya.
