Carl Jammes Martin is the new PBF bantamweight champion were he knockout Benezir Alolod in the 7th round which was held at Mandaluyong School Gym last friday. The 20 year old Martin, knockout his last 7 opponents in an average of 3 rounds, and was happy with the result when he won against the recent Philippine and regional title holder Alolod.
Martin showed an impressive performance during the fight and was able to withstand the punches of Alolod. According to Martin, the training was a great help for him where he tested his strength and stamina because his opponent is strong. Martin caught Alolod in the 5th round by a left hook in the body and a right in the chin. In the 6th round, Martin throw more punches to Alolod but in the 7th round, the referee stop the fight.
Martin has now an impressive record of 14-0 with 13 KO's while Alolod has 19-13-5 with 7 KO's. Martin wants a another to fight so that he could test his capabilities and to improve more.
