For this math problem we will be using Telegram and the Scorum block explorer. Don't worry this will be easy, we will simply be comparing times and counting token deposits, you can even use a calculator if it helps. 

A Scorum user by the name of @phoneinf (Adrien) has a a youtube channel and he posts youtube videos here on Scorum. Why is this important? Multiple Scorum community members have been spreading false accusations by saying that @phoneinf and myself are the same person (trying to abuse the rewards pool). Since @nhl, @brandonk and @swolesome have been harassing me and their "reason" is that Adrien mentioned having 1390 SP when leaving a message on Telegram, this is a similar number to what I currently have. Silly right? I would like to show them how easily this all could have been avoided if they used math and logic.

This is the beauty of math, it does not lie.

Things to note:

  • Telegram time is based on your current time zone
  • the Scorum block explorer is set to UTC time

Lets open Scorum's Telegram and search for the messages that Adrien recently left, all we need to do is scroll up to find his name/photo.

August 11 (two days ago) easy to find

There we go, found the messages! Posted two days ago.

The time says 5:00 PM

Remember, Telegram time is based on your time zone, so now we need to have a look at mine.

8:55 PM

As you can see, the time is 8:55 PM on 13/08.

Now lets see what time it is on the Scorum block explorer.

2:55 AM

The time is 2:55 AM on 14/08.

Now lets do our first calculation! 8:55 PM to 2:55 AM is a difference of how many hours?

6? Yes!! You're off to a great start, the difference is 6 hours.

If Adrien posted at 5:00 PM and there is a difference of 6 hours, the time must have been 11:00 PM on the Scorum block explorer. (5+6 = 11)

This is very interesting, @nhl told me that Adrien had purchased tokens after going on Telegram, but math is telling me otherwise. You see, I am able to show you Adrien's Scorum account transactions on the Scorum block explorer and it appears that he definitely had more than 1383 tokens on his account 45 minutes before posting his messages on Telegram.

Now pull out a calculator and lets do some easy math. Add up all of the deposit amounts that were made before 11:00 PM on 11/08, these are all of the transactions that were made before he asked for help on Telegram.

If your answer is 1383.483 SP then pat yourself on the back, that is correct!!

And if you include the SP activity rewards pool this number would be slightly higher, close to 1390 SP.

So, @nhl we can clearly see that Adrien did in fact possess the amount that he mentioned at 5:01 PM (11/08) on Telegram.

Lets finish with one additional math problem before you go.

If I have been using my voting slider for 7 days and Adrien only had his for 2, how many days are in between?

If you answered 5 that is correct. The reason why this is important is that if we were the same person we would not have needed to ask Scorum's Telegram how to use the voting slider 2 days ago.
