Scorum Africa : White Paper

August 31, 2018

Abstract

Africa has the fastest growing market for technology in the world. With its large population, a vast majority use the internet. According to our research, 4 out of every 10 young Africans visit betting platforms when there is a football match. Also, Africa is known for a remarkable adoption of social media. This makes Africa a good market for Scorum.

The Scorum blockchain is a unique platform that offers a lot of opportunities for sports lovers to add value to the ecosystem and get paid.

Scorum Africa is an initiative of a group of talented young Africans, currently from Ghana and Nigeria who supports other graphene communities by running witness servers, curating great content from the African community and promote these platforms. Scorum Africa is also supported by a vibrant team of intelligent and selfless Africans who support will like to contribute to the growth of Scorum and facilitate massive adoption of the Scorum platform across the well-populated African continent. We also seek to get and give support to Scorum communities in other continents.

Scorum Africa is a community based initiative that adds value in many ways. It is an African based community that seeks to help Africans and non-Africans get value from quality content.

Our Mission

Scorum Africa’s mission is to create and support offline and online African community through Scorum.

We will educate, curate, and motivate content creators as well as create an enabling environment to promote Scorum.

Educate

Blockchain Technology requires a whole lot of good education to be able to understand the basics.

Scorum Africa will support users in our community by educating them in a step – by – step education process and also train them to be good writers on Scorum.

The subject of quality content creation is of importance in our community. In the course of education, we will teach, coach and empower Scorum content creators.

Curate and Motivate

We will carry out a daily curation of the best contents which scale plagiarism and low quality thorough checks. Our team will also check for impersonation and false stories which might be targeted at raping the reward pool. Good writers will get good rewards.

Create

  • Hosting Scorum Hackathons,
  • Supporting and hosting sports competitions and
  • Organizing Scorum Meetups

We do not only seek to support Scorum online. Our commitments will also be seen offline as we will host hackathons, sports competitions and meetups to promote scorum offline in our beloved continent.

Scorum Witness Server

We are well informed to know that Scorum isn’t a joke and that someone must take responsibility instead of throwing blame. This has made Scorum Africa start its Witness Server in order to carry out Pro-Scorum activities online and offline.

This is not a business to earn SP but a responsibility taken in order to support and encourage African writers and content creators.

With a rapidly increasing number of users on the platform, there is need for more curators and creators. Scorum Africa seeks to curate all possible Pro-Scorum and Pro-African writers in order to give and support existing and new content creators.
