Nepal has ended the medal drought in the Asian Games by winning the silver medal in the 18th Asian Games which is currently running in Indonesia. In the Men’s Cross Country Event of Paragliding, Team Nepal was prosperous to get the second place with narrow points defeats to Japan. Japan was just 27 points ahead of Nepal and won the gold medal in Men’s Cross Country Event. This Men’s Cross Country Event of Paragliding was organized in Gunung Mas Puncak in West Java, Indonesia.

These Nepali Players, Bijay Gautam, Bimal Adhikari, Bimla Thapa, Sushil Gurung and Ukesh Gurung, were successful to end the medal drought for Nepal. In the today’s round team Nepal added 2797 points, taking the total to 11,364 points. Meanwhile, Japan added 2057 points today, taking total to 11,391 to win the gold medal.

This was a perfect comeback from Team Nepal, but due to a high score in the previous round Team, Japan was successful to win the Gold.
