I have now decided to add the series title in the header again - still learning the rules and ways here on Scorum which is a fantastic platform! Anyone in disagreement? Probably not! Hope you like the motivational quote stuff as well as the Sports History series I started but been a bit lazy recently - or better busy with real life issues. So today we have another quote from a famous guys - this time from Boxing - a true fighter said:
“It is not the size of a man but the size of his heart that matters.”
Who was saying that?
Well - the one and only former box(ing) legend - Evander Holyfield - not sure he thought about one of his competitors that was biting his ear in 1997 - Mike Tyson. Mike is probably a perfect fit for this quote - a motivation for small sized people like me, the heart, the will, the enthusiasm is more important for success.
Evander was relatively tall himself and a professional boxer 1984 to 2011. He is the only boxer in history reigning in cruiserweight and heavyweight division.
The following should be a quote by Wikipedia but the editor does not give a quote ootion on mobile- sure this comes soon as we have a great dev team on Scorum!
"Evander Holyfield (born October 19, 1962) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1984 to 2011. He reigned as the undisputed champion in both the cruiserweight and heavyweight divisions, being the first and—to date—only boxer in history to do so, which earned him the nickname of "The Real Deal". Holyfield is the only four-time world heavyweight champion, having held the WBA, WBC, IBF, and lineal titles from 1990 to 1992; the WBA, IBF, and lineal titles again from 1993 to 1994; the WBA title from 1996 to 1999; the IBF title from 1997 to 1999; and the WBA title for a fourth time from 2000 to 2001."
Question to the community!
Do you like my Sports Quotes series at all? I am happy to receive your feedback and work on other things too. Recently did not write about Sports News anymore - simply as of the fact that we have so many great people writing about great things. But on the other hand I probably will go ahead with it - trying to have a good mix of content here between Football, Formula 1, Motivational Stuff and Sports History at least - I will not bother you with only one topic here.
