The Jesolo Trophy, which was first organized in 2008, is back after a hiatus due to the Covid-19 crisis that hit Italy quite hard at the beginning of 2020.

Canada, Japan, Italy, Korea & Spain were some of the countries that sent a senior team to the city of Jesolo, on the Northeast coast of Italy. Unfortunately, the United States of America, which had originally planned to send over 30 gymnasts (including senior and junior athletes), eventually only sent 2 junior gymnasts and no senior representation, though they promised the organizers that they would be back with a large delegation in 2024.

Since some of the countries had sent so many gymnasts, some countries, such as Italy and Germany, had to be divided into team A and team B, so the team title went to Italy (team A), the silver medal was for Korea, and Spain got bronze.

The team competition also served as the All-Around event, which had an all-Italian podium, with Manila Esposito climbing to the highest step. Korea's vault specialist, and the Olympic bronze medal on this apparatus at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Seo-jeong Yeo, won the gold medal on vault. On uneven bars, another apparatus specialist, Alice D'amato, from Italy, had a fantastic routine to clinched the gold medal. On beam, Canada's Cassandra Lee received the highest score in the final. Finally, Spanish gymnast Laura Casabuena got the gold medal on floor.
