Victoria Falls is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world. This waterfall is located on the Zambezi River, which at present forms the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. This waterfall has a width of approximately 1 mile (1.6 km), with a height of 128m (420 feet).

David Livingstone, a Scottish explorer, visited the lake in 1855 and named it in the name of Queen Victoria, while his local name was Mosi-oa-Tunya, "smoke blaring." This waterfall is part of two national parks, Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park in Zambia and Victoria Falls National Park in Zimbabwe, as well as UNESCO World Heritage Site. This waterfall is a major tourist attraction in South Africa.
