Athletics

Athletics is the oldest sport practiced by humans, and includes several branches such as walking, running, jumping, jumping, throwing disc, spear and hammer. The competitions were held for the first time in the land of the Greeks in 1453 BC and were the basis of the ancient Olympic Games.

Boxing began to reappear in England during the 17th century. The first formal boxing matches began in 1880 and were officially incorporated into the 1904 New Olympics in the United States. The Polo

The polo is the "sport of kings" and originates in Persia (now Iran) where it was practiced in the training of soldiers and cavalry during the 6th century BC. Sport later spread throughout Asia. The polo is played through a two-team match, each with four players. Thanks to Britain, it has given it its current form and popularity and its transfer to Argentina to become a spiritual land that embraces sport, providing skilled players and thoroughbred horses.

Gymnastics

The beginning of the gymnastics game dates back to the early 19th century in Europe and was included in the Olympic Games in 1896. But the gymnastics movement was regarded by the ancient Greeks as a practical combination of mind and body, combining physical effort and mental activity.

There are different types of gymnastics, including artistic, rhythmic and acrobatic, and each requires high physical strength and flexibility, along with coordination, balance and stamina.

Hockey

The International Hockey Federation noted that there was historical information indicating that the hockey game began at the time of the ancient Egyptians four thousand years ago and in Ethiopia in the year 1000 BC. The first game of hockey in its current form was organized in England during the 18th century.

The hockey is one of the oldest types of sports that used a stick. The team consists of 11 players. The players use a stick to control, dodge and hit the ball to enter the opponent's goal and win the team that scores the most goals.

Horseback Riding (Equestrian)

It is one of the oldest sports known to man, and occupies a distinguished position among modern sports. The sport was first included in the Olympic Games in 1900, and it holds an independent world championship every year. These include equestrian sports, jumping, horseback riding, and horse racing.
