He is a Congolese gynecologist and human rights activist. He is also director of the hospital of panzi which he founded in 1999 in Bukavu. When Mukwege was a child, he accompanied his father when he visited sick people. This has inspired Mukwege to become a doctor later. In October 2012, Dr. Mukwege attacked in his house and his family was kept at gunpoint. His friend and bodyguard, Joseph Bizimana, was killed. After the attack he fled from the country. 1 year later he returned to Congo. He is also the advisor to the international campaign against rape. He has received a lot of prizes all over the world. since 1999, dr. Mukwege and his staff helped more than 50,000 survivors of sexual violence.

I chose Denis because he is one of the few people who stand up against rape and violence. he has already helped more than 50,000 women in his hospital.
