Today's Game @(MOA Arena)

4:30 n.h. - SMB vs Blackwater

7:00 p.m. - Magnolia vs NLEX

The defending champion San Miguel Beermen will try to beat Blackwater in double-header PBA Commissioners Cup elimination round today at the MOA Arena in Pasay.

The Beermen (5-4) and Elite (1-9) will be playing in the opening match at 4:30 pm before the feature battle between Magnolia (4-5) and NLEX (2-8).

Both the Elite and the Road Warriors are seeking the final conclusion of the game in the second conference as Beermen and Hotshots play in the playoffs.

The troop of coach Leo Austria will try to win the 6th win that will formally advance them in the next round where they are still in the possession of the prospect of catching the no. 2 spot if they win today with Elite and with Hotshots in their last elimination round game and expect Alaska and TNT to be defeated on their last battles.

If incidentally, there will be a 4-way tie at 7-4 between SMB, TNT, Alaska and Meralco and will surely break through a playoff to find out who is the second team to have a twice-to-beat advantage in quarters with the top seed Rain or Shine.

The Beermen will play with the momentum of the back-to-back win over the Katropa and Road Warriors as they try to upset the Elite to increase their wins.

Magnolia will try to revive the 84-104 disappointment in their previous encounter with Ginebra to reach the hopes of entering the quarters.

The Hotshots will use their newest and fourth import this year's conference, Wayne Chism, which was previously imported by NLEX last year's Commissioners Cup.
