First thing, all players need to remember : Card games are luck dependant...

No matter your strategy, luck is a big part of Poker, and I will demonstrate it here by 2 nice examples.

The worst hand in poker (Texas Hold'em) is known to be Seven Deuce off suit : 7 2, meaning that when you get those cards you will fold most of the time.

I must admit, it exists some hands I never fold, my preferred hand is K9 suited, what many calls the dog as it is pronounced Canine... I won many improbable hands with it, but I am considering adding 7-2 to my favourite hands :)

Why ?

First, because I recently won a turbo sit'n go tournament with it (Turbo 3 players):

Worst hand wins... Fatalityyyyyy.... lol

Looking at this hand, not only I won with the so called worst hand, but I played against one of the best hands: K A

But I also recently lost all my chips with a nice flush king high :

Flush over flush, Finish Him !!!

Why do I show this example here ? Well, read the revealed cards again and imagine playing with the worst hand 72...
Indeed, you get it, the 7 full of deuces would have crushed the flush and I would have made an historical double up :)

But my flush finished as what I would call a Bad Beat ...

Hopefully, on replay's poker, it's not real money, so I can rebuild my stack, it's just a matter of time :) But, between you and me, yes it hurts anyway...

So yes, Poker is really about luck, probabilities will always be probabilities and nothing more than that :)

Of course on the long run, probabilities are supposed to show the good path,
unless Lady Luck looks somewhere else...
