Most of our attention is on the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, but that doesn't mean there isn't some great poker freerolls to play in over at ScorumPoker.com. We had a great week in the Little @Mikey Poker Series as we just finished the 10th week of play. We will run this tournament at least another 10 weeks, so come and play starting this next Monday at 10 AM Central.
Poker Tip -- Getting Out of a Funk
Ever feel like you're trapped in a poker funk? When you're playing badly and constantly losing early in tournaments, get out of that funk by multi-tasking more. Yes, this may sound counterproductive, but by playing poker while doing several other things, you take your mind more off of the game and tend to be more patient. I often watch shows and am working on articles while a poker game is on one of my several screens. It doesn't work for everyone, but try multitasking the next time you're struggling at the tables.

Every player who plays in each of the five weekly tournaments earns an extra 5 points, which can be the difference between first and second place. I won just my second week of the 10 weeks of play, and I hope to grab a couple more during the course of these next 10 weeks.
