Intro

 I'm not sure if this family crest is authentic and recorded somewhere official. Could be a crafty salesperson pulled the wool over dads eyes and he made the purchase. Still I have no reason to doubt its not real. Anyway, as the story goes the family immigrated to America from Essex, England on the ship Anne in the year 1623. Some of the names rumored that had connection to the family one way or another are John Hancock and William Cody (Buffalo Bill). Don't ask my how. Just on that measure alone its been a while since anyone in the family gained any kind of notoriety. I don't figure I will break the trend but still got some time. I do wonder if someone in the family has been a member of its fighting forces in just about every major conflict since immigration to the Continent. Wish I could get the family members in a room that might have fought against each other during the American revolution and civil wars. That might make for some interesting family stories. 

      

Some more about family. Above is my brother holding the fish. Not even a couple of years younger but physically I might as well be 20 years older. Its a great pic so wanted to put it on a block chain somewhere. I doubt he will ever visit a blockchain social media platform. His active lifestyle doesn't have much time for surfing the web.

See what I mean. He got the better genes and the better boat. Well, in all fairness he works his ass off daily. I on the other hand I spend way to much time in front of the computer usually playing poker. 

Speaking of poker ... that was the sole motivator that got me here on scorum. I do enjoy other sports. American football, baseball, golf to name a few. I am being drawn into soccer and tennis and would like to understand cricket. I still lots to learn about this network. Hopefully it will thrive. I am looking forward to watching it grow and participating in that.
