- You Need To Target The Short Stacks
When you enter a new table, look at the stacks around you and check for the three smallest stacks that are on the table. The moment you know the area they are with the relation to your own seat and the position you will have over them at some times, thereafter after these stacks and continue to build up your own mountain of chips. is this not interesting? Make this as your next step of action to keep eyes on the big stack. When you sighted that one of these shorties is in between you and the chip leader of the table, you have to allow the chip leader feast on them just because you want to have a position on the chip leader in any circumstance where you clash and this is a tough accept of the game because the chip leader is in position.
2. You Need To Stay Away From Chip Leader
As a great player, you don't need to clash with the table chip leader especially when there are enough chips out for you to feast. If the tournament is early you have a long way to make money since is still early and you can not win the tournament at this point, so why are you clashing with the table chip leader?
3. Take Control Of The Pots
In tournament, there is a time you need to bump heads with the table chip leader, if you do this you may end up close to the final table. and by this, you can take on the table chip leader.
Identify with a position on the player. This is a first attempt which allows your opponent not to dictate the pace of play and also how much you are playing for. The moment you have a position on a player the control of the pot size is yours and you can make the appropriate decisions with all the information rather than just part of it.
Gather a good deal of information on the player especially if you have been playing for a very period of time. Look for the thing he has been showing down. Seek for deviation in his betting patterns. Make sure you attack the table chip leader with a strong hand. If you sighted pocket Aces or pocket kings leave them to attack but for you make sure you move only when you get the chip moving and never experimenting with playing an unsuited connector from under the gun.
