After 3 days of Final Table action and a marathon 10 hour heads up battle with Tony Miles, John Cynn emerged victorious in the 2018 WSOP Main Event. He took down a whopping $8.8 million dollars. Both players were still really deep on the final hand that clinched the win. Cynn raised it to 9 million with a K J suited, Miles then reraised to 34 million with Q 8 o/s and Cynn made the call. The flop came down K K 5. Miles led out for 32 million and Cynn called, an 8 peeled off on the turn and Miles jammed all in for 115 million chips. Cynn didn't snap-call and thought about it for about a minute before deciding he had to call the massive bet. He had Miles drawing dead and he became the latest player to take down the main event title.
