Michael Dyer at the main event

After Day 5 of the WSOP main event Michael Dyer is sitting atop the leader board with just over 12 million chips. Sitting just behind him are Brian Yoon and Jeff Trudeau with 8.3 million chips each.  109 players remain out of the 7,874 players that started.

A few well known pros remain in the running including 2009 main event champion Joe Cada who has about 3 million chips.   Last years 3rd place finisher Benjamin Pollak is also running very well and has 5.7 million chips.  James Obst who finished 13th in the 2016 main event is still in and has a stack of 1.7 million chips.
