A sigh of relief from Ernest-Wallon. No player has tested positive for Covid-19 after exams taken on Tuesday by players from Stade Toulousain. The match scheduled for Sunday in Clermont for the opening of the Top 14 should therefore be able to be held.

The whole group was impatiently awaiting the results of these tests. Last week, a first player had tested positive, raising fears of a potential internal contamination. It is ultimately not.

The players will undergo new tests on Friday, 48 hours before their trip to Clermont, to ensure that no contamination has taken place in the meantime.

As a reminder, the National Rugby League has decided to postpone any match, if three elements of the same team are tested positive 48 hours before the match.
