Today in Chicago another huge marathon milestone was set. Brigid Chepchirchir Kosgei won the Chicago Marathon in an amazing time of 2:14:04 and set the new official best mark for women.
Kosgei replaced Paula Radcliffe on the top of the all-time list. Radcliffe won the London Marathon in 2003 with the time of 2:!5:25.
Congratulations to the Kenyan runner who won the Chicago Marathon for the third consecutive time.

Kosgei managed to run the race very consistently. It's amazing how her pace even increased for the last two kilometers and was almost as quick as her starting pace.
The other milestone, mentioned above, is Eliud Kipchoge's sub-two hours marathon run yesterday in Vienna.
Amazing x 2
Better and better
