Hi! I'm the BRO CEO, @ats-david.

Some of you may know me. Others may be meeting me for the first time. I do have an acquired taste...just like beer!

OK. Now that the introduction is out of the way, let's cut to the chase.

It took me a long time to get here, but I finally made it! And I'm glad that I have now taken the dip into the Scorum pool!

To be honest, I was told about Scorum a few months ago by my friends in the SBC and was recently encouraged by several people to join, but I've had a full plate of events this summer, including starting development of a new sports and gaming website. But more on that later!

Why am I here now?

Well, mostly peer pressure. However, there are some things about Scorum that I really, really like.

First of all...

Sports!

I'm a huge fan and began running a variety of sports contests on the Steem blockchain two years ago. In fact, I was one of the first to do this, if not the first. Back then, there wasn't much support or engagement for sports and related content but I eventually broke through some barriers due to some generous support from larger stakeholders. As a result, I was able to distribute many thousands of STEEM and SBD to plenty of loyal fans and participants.

Even today on the Steem blockchain, there isn't much support for sports content outside of token giveaways, so it warms my heart to see an entire blockchain dedicated to sports and sports-related topics. And it's also great to see so many of my friends, followers, and former contest participants here on Scorum and flourishing! It just feels like home!

The other major selling point for me is this:

Actual revenue and distribution models!

I tried my best to express the need for and the benefits of revenue and distribution to other blockchain CEOs and they have simply refused to acknowledge the importance of them and the revolutionary aspect of them when combined with blockchain technology. In particular, I have mentioned the tried-and-true concept of social media advertising, and I had simply been subsequently dismissed.

With Scorum's advertising and distribution model, in addition to the partner program and photo-sharing database, there's an opportunity for truly passive income for investors and revenue sources for blockchain growth and development. These should never be underestimated in either the tech or investment worlds!

I'm sure that there's plenty of work to be done, but just the fact that revenue and distribution is taken seriously here is enough to convince me that this project is in the hands of some forward-thinking and apparently competent developers. And it's refreshing to see that in crypto today!

There are other great features as well, including notifications (imagine that!) and the reward structure for threaded comments, both of which make Scorum.com feel like a real social media website, with the latter encouraging thoughtful engagement. So congratulations to the Scorum development team for understanding the need for critical social media features.

So what about that website we're building?

Yes...in case you haven't heard already, the BRO Sports and Gaming Network is currently building a website for sports and poker enthusiasts, with even more new category additions coming shortly after launch. We will have several features and functions integrated with the Steem blockchain and we will now be adding SCR compatibility into our development plans!

With my partner @tuck-fheman and our development team, we will be building a network of sports and gaming enthusiasts, inviting them to join us on our BROSGN.com website, and introducing them to the world of cryptocurrencies through sports and gaming content and contests. And a place and community like Scorum if a perfect fit for sharing our experiences on the road to achieving our development goals!

We plan on working with developers from the Scorum community to help us create and deploy the necessary tools to reach those goals, so any insight and feedback is appreciated!

In addition to building for the community, we also want to support the community as much as we can, so we are currently looking into becoming delegates and running the necessary nodes for the Scorum blockchain and our future development.

These are exciting times for us at the BRO Network and I'm glad that we can share this experience here with a real sports community!

So we're going to get to work and we hope that you'll continue to enjoy both the games and the growing community that we have to offer! Join us in the BRO chat on Discord!

Thank you in advance for the warm welcome! It's great to finally be here!
