I read Mikey's excellent post about goals for 2019 involving both personal and Scorum inspired Initiatives. https://scorum.com/en-us/scorum/@mikey/my-5-early-2019-scorum-resolutions-what-are-yours
I contacted Mikey and asked if it was cool to hop on this idea as it inspired me to think about what five resolutions I'd pick. He said yes of course and also that if I wrote down "LAMBO" as one that he'd never talk to me again! (joking) I do see he asked the community what all of ours would be so I suppose I should stop multi-tasking so much to really critically read while juggling biz and life..... (perhaps that will be a goal to improve on!)
1. Learn to say No and not feel bad! I am allowing myself to get spread too thin on commitments between work, personal life and social life. Instead of feeling that everything must be done right at that exact moment , I shall be taking a step back to smell the roses. Not saying yes to too many things will be good for everyone in my life and my blood pressure. :) Prioritizing Scorum and my initiatives and goals on it are going to take precedence over wasting energy on things I can not change.
2. Getting back into peak shredded shape! Too much screentime and working has made me lose too much muscle mass and not feel like myself. While some think that may be a good thing it makes me just feel blah and my workout routine that had been a staple in life fell by the wayside. In 2019 that will not be an issue as it ties into Resolution number one of being able to say no and focus a bit more on my own well being. Up until this year I was very athletic so it is going to be less blogging and more Cardio.
3. Learning the ropes of SCORUM and being more of a contributor and community member... I can not always post every day but want to evolve with the platform and hopefully be an asset to this ecosystem. Thank You again to everyone who has been so kind and supportive with me thus far. It has been very refreshing.
4. Eat Healthier! Explains itself :) If we are what we eat then 2018 has transformed me into a fast food and convenience dietary lifestyle which has only served in saving time to be ingesting utter garbage. Time to dust off the Juicers and get to the farmers markets and unplug and cook right for myself and those I love.
5. Gratitude instead of Attitude! I come from industries that are extremely cut throat and am rather O.G. on the circuits of blogging/crypto/finance/surviving shark infested waters. That being said, I want to find a less toxic and aggressive way to interact and network and make friends without always waiting for someone to bury an AXE in my back or my businesses (pun intended).
