I feel as though if this system is to be implemented, there should be a somewhat more thorough check since my Youtube video is still my own IP (intellectual property).

I love the plagiarism prevention system as it stands, but I feel as though I should be able to share my own video that simply happens to lay other places on the internet.

Scorum is a place for earning and self promotion in the most real sense, I just don't want to be discouraged to post picks I also post elsewhere..

I understand the cost of of plagiarism and how detrimental it can be to the entire platform, I just hope for evolutions in the system for improvements in detection and possible appeals...

...I can also bypass the system by paraphrasing the work I do elsewhere, but in all honesty it was a mistake. I am making this post to also make people aware of why my post is earning so low, and I don't want to be seen as a plagiarist... but I think my reputation is proven here.
